THE LAST GREAT RIDE


A story about Brandon Tartikoff the "wizard" of media industry. During his tenure in NBC his COSBY SHOW was a big hit to about 48% of the share. However in 1982 he hits into problem both health and NBC. Series such as Remington Steele and KnightRider are not doing very well. He was save by A-TEAM and SHOGUN which receive high ratings at that time.

He also lead the idea of replacing Tonight Show (Johnny Carson leave in 1991) with The Late Night Show with David Letterman. During his time NBC bids for MLB contracts worth of USD 800 M and succeed.

After 14 years with NBC he move to Paramount Pictures as Chairman.
